Some information about me:

I was born in 1973 at Chania, Crete Greece. I received my Bachelor's Degree on Physics from the Department of Physics of the University of Crete (UOC) at Heraklion in 1997. During my undergraduate dissertation, entitled: “ Development of a climatological simulation model for the prediction of the longwave Earth radiation in the Northern Hemisphere: Comparison with satellite data ” I worked at the Environmental Research Laboratory in Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) at the Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH).

In 2000, I received my Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Technological and Applied Physics and Laser Technology from the Physics Division of Department of Sciences, at the Technical University of Crete (TUC) at Chania, Crete, Greece.

In 2006 I was awarded my Doctorate (Ph.D.) entitled:"Laser matter interaction with emphasis to the physical mechanisms take place during propagation of ultrashort high intensity laser pulses in gas and solid media" at the Department of Sciences, at the Technical University of Crete

At the present I hold a permanent lab staff position as a physicist at the Matter Structure and Laser Physics Laboratory in Technical University of Crete (TUC).
