Abstract:
This thesis evaluates the implementation of the Seveso III Directive (2012/18/EU) in Greece, focusing on its role in preventing and managing major industrial accidents involving dangerous substances. It examines the national legal framework and selected industrial accidents in Greece in order to identify gaps and weaknesses in its practical application. The study also considers examples from other European countries to indicate possible areas for improvement in industrial safety.
