The call is now open for nominations for the EURECA-PRO Teaching Excellence Awards, celebrating outstanding educators within the EURECA-PRO alliance, recognizing higher education academic staff, whose innovative teaching programs have an exceptional impact on student learning and experience in general.

 These awards aim to:

• Recognize and reward educators who excel in innovative teaching that enhances student learning.
• Stimulate and share best practices that strengthen the appreciation of teaching within EURECA–PRO.
• Highlight the integration of research, innovation, and education across our European University Alliance.

 Award Categories:

• Rising Star Award – Early-career educators or PhD/postdoc teachers
• Glocal Teaching Excellence Award – Educators integrating global and local perspectives
• Innovative Teaching Practice Award – Creative and tech-enhanced approaches

 Key Dates:

• Nomination Deadline: 30 November 2025, midnight (CET)
• Candidate Notification: mid January 2026
• Registration Closing: 19 January 2026
• Award Ceremony: 3 February 2026 @ Hasselt University

The awards and the ceremony will be part of the upcoming EURECA-PRO Education and Research Days, themed "Glocalising Universities: A Shifting Horizon".
