The Laboratory of Management of Mining / Metallurgical Wastes and Rehabilitation of Contaminated Soils of the School of Mineral Resources Engineering at the Technical University of Crete (TUC) organizes a Capacity Building Webinar, with the support of the European project Horizon Europe CICERO, entitled 

"Advances in Circular Hydrometallurgy – Insights from the HE CICERO Project"

The webinar will be held on Friday 28 November 2025, 11.00-13.00 CET.

The following two talks will be delivered as part of the webinar:

• The 12 Principles of Circular Hydrometallurgy (11:00–12:00 CET)
  Professor Koen Binnemans, KU-Leuven 
   
• Electrowinning of Metals from Aqueous Solutions: The Potential of Methane Sulfonic Acid as Electrolyte (12:00–13:00 CET)
  Siri Marie Skaftun, SINTEF
