The Centre for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (K.E.DI.VI.M.) of the Technical University of Crete (TUC) invites you to the Certificate Award Ceremony for the graduates of the following training programmes:

• “Special Topics in Byzantine Painting: Multi-Figure Compositions – Part B: Advanced Level”
• “Painting: Art History and Techniques – Part B: Advanced Level”

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, 3 October 2026, at 18:00, in the “Manousos Manousakis” Amphitheatre (G2.1) at the TUC Campus.

The programmes were designed and implemented during the 2025–2026 academic year, under the academic supervision of Dr Alexandra Kouroutaki, Art Historian and member of the Special Educational Staff (E.DI.P.) of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Technical University of Crete.

The laboratory instructors were Konstantina Stefanaki, iconographer, for the Iconography programme, and Konstantinos Kounalis, visual artist, for the Painting programme.

• Dr Alexandra Kouroutaki, Art Historian, Lecturer in Art Theory and Academic Coordinator of the Programmes

  “K.E.DI.VI.M. TUC Iconography and Painting Programmes (2025–2026): Educational Objectives, Review, and Digital Exhibitions of Works”

• Konstantina Stefanaki, Iconographer, Head of the Iconography Workshop, Orthodox Academy of Crete

  “Teaching the Practical Component of the Byzantine Iconography Programme at the K.E.DI.VI.M. of the Technical University of Crete”
