The Digital Signal and Image Processing Laboratory – Display Lab of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Crete is organizing a workshop entitled “Data Processing and AI-Driven REE Forecasting”, within the framework of the European project MaaSiveTwin, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, 10:00 - 17:00, at the premises of the Technical University of Crete in Chania (Science Building, Room 141Π58 and online).
The workshop will explore how data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital technologies can support the management of Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) and Rare Earth Elements (REEs), as also as the strategic role of critical raw materials in strengthening Europe’s economic and technological resilience.
The event includes presentations by distinguished researchers and talks addressing digital transformation, energy systems, and circular value chains.
