The Technical University of Crete welcomed a delegation from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) as part of the delegation's visit to Greece, on Tuesday, 7 July 2026.
The delegation was received in the Senate Conference Room by the Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Professor Konstantinos Alketas Ungrinis, the Vice Rector for Finance and Development, Professor Danae Venieri, and the Dean of the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Professor Petros Gikas.
The BUCT delegation consisted of Song Laixin, Deputy Chair of the BUCT University Council, Zou Dexun, Director of the Office of Student Affairs, Li Jianhua, Director of the Office of Domestic Cooperation and Exchanges, Han Yue, Deputy Director of the Department of Communications and Public Relations and Gao Xing, Director of the Department of International Relations, Exchanges and Cooperation.
During the visit, the representatives of the two institutions discussed opportunities for developing collaboration in areas of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on education, research, and innovation.
