The established international journal ENERGIES (an open access Journal from MDPI- Impact Factor: 3.2 (2024), 5-Year Impact Factor: 3.1 (2024)) has decided to award Dr. Konstantinos Blazakis, senior Post-Doc teaching and research fellow in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Dpt of the Hellenic Mediterranean University, Doctor of the Technical University of Crete (end of August 2024-ECE School), for his PhD thesis entitled "DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF ADVANCED ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE METHODS IN THE DETECTION OF POWER THEFT IN SMART ELECTRIC POWER DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS WITH STRONG RENEWABLE ENERGY PENETRATION", the international distinction "The ENERGIES 2024 Best PhD Thesis Award".
