The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Technical University of Crete (TUC) invites applications for the Master of Science (MSc) program in Machine Learning and Data Science (MLDS) for the Academic Year 2025-2026 (Octοber 2025 – July 2026).
Classes begin the first week of October and conclude at the end of May. The remaining time is allotted to exams and project work. The MLDS program requires on site presence and significant time commitment. All educational activities are in English. In addition to classes, students will have the chance to work on a capstone project for which they will use machine learning methods to analyze selected datasets. Project topics can vary widely and include climate change, traffic forecasting, analysis of astrophysical data, sales and credit information, earthquakes, medical images, biomedical and epidemiological applications, etc.
Tuition fees: for the entire program, 500 euros for applicants from the European Economic Area (EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and 1000 euros for non-EU applicants.
Please, visit the MLDS site for the application procedure. Applications can be submitted between January 21 and March 31, 2025 for both EU and non-EU applicants. The results of the evaluation will be announced by mid-April 2025.
