On the occasion of traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, the first Chinese Culture Festival was successfully held in the Language Centre of the Technical University of Crete on October 10^th with the great contributions from Chinese language teacher Ms. Zhu Shiheng and all the students from Chinese classes.

With the beautiful decorations and in a warm and pleasant atmosphere, the guests visited the traditional architecture exhibits, appreciated traditional Chinese painting “Along the River During the Qingming Festival”, experienced traditional activities such as calligraphy, paper-cutting, tile-stamping and Mahjong, enjoyed traditional Chinese foods such as Mooncakes, Dumplings, Tea eggs, Dongpo Pork, Mapo Tofu, Fried Noodles and Fried Rice, and also a variety of tasty Greek foods made by the students.

The festival was honored by the presence of the Rector Prof. Konstantinos-Alketas Oungrinis, Vice Rector of Research and Innovation Prof. Panagiotis Partsinevelos and professors and students from different schools of TUC and UoC.
