The Technical University of Crete (TUC) participates in the organization of two International Conferences this year in Athens, Greece:
the 37th IEEE International Conference on Tools with AI (ICTAI-2025)
and the 25th IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics & Bioengineering (ICBIBE-2025).
Dr. Nikolaos Bourbakis (the Founder) is the General Chair of these two IEEE International Conferences. He is an IEEE Life Fellow and an AAIA Fellow; a Honorary Emeritus Professor and a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Technical University of Crete; the President of the BAIF Foundation and a Board of Regents Distinguished Professor of IT, OH, USA; and a Visiting Research Professor at Purdue University, W. Lafayette IN, USA;
The ICTAI-2025 will be held Nov. 03-05, 2025 at the Royal Olympic Hotel, Athens, Greece. The ICTAI series (1989 – present) provides a major international forum where the creation and exchange of ideas related to artificial intelligence are fostered among academia, industry, and government agencies. The conference facilitates the cross-fertilization of these ideas and promotes their transfer into practical tools, for developing intelligent systems and pursuing artificial intelligence applications. ICTAI encompasses all technical aspects of specifying, developing and evaluating the theoretical underpinnings and applied mechanisms of the AI-based components of computer tools such as algorithms, architectures and languages.
The ICBIBE-2025 will be held Nov. 06-08, 2025 at the Royal Olympic Hotel, Athens, Greece. The ICBIBE series (2000 – present) builds synergies among the complementary disciplines of Bioinformatics, Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. These synergies have delivered advances for understanding a wide range of complex issues and problems in the fields of medicine, bioengineering and biological systems, health environmental science, public healthcare, food, forensics, wearable and assistive devices and more. These fields have improved the human condition by helping us understand living organisms at multiple levels, developing innovative implants and bio-prosthetics, and by improving tools and techniques for the detection, prevention and treatment of diseases. The ICBIBE series provide a common platform for the cross fertilization of ideas and for shaping knowledge and scientific achievements by bridging these disciplines into an interactive and engaging forum.
