The 11th "Global Healthcare Forum on Healthcare Innovations" event will be held at the Technical University of Crete (TUC), on Saturday June 4th, 2022. The event is organized by TUC's Digital Image and Signal Processing Laboratory and TUC's Rectorate, in collaboration with Professors Metin Akay and Yasemin Akay (Department of Biomedical Engineering, Cullen College of Engineering, University of Houston) and Professor Paul Sadja (The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, Columbia University).
The main objective of the event is to highlight and discuss how emerging interests and innovations, including the latest advances in the areas of science, engineering, technology and medicine, can be translated into cutting-edge healthcare curricula that could address emerging healthcare needs.
On the occasion of this event, eight internationally renowned speakers will share their knowledge on topics concerning, among others, the design and application of AI- and Data- driven methodologies in Health Monitoring, Biomedical Research and Precision Medicine.
The Global Healthcare Forum on Healthcare Innovations is sponsored by IEEE EMBS, TUC and UH BME.
The event will take place live at the "Manousos Manousakis" Amphitheater (Γ2.1) on TUC Campus.
