Architectures, Renato Vivaldi Tesser and Rosario Etchebarne, delivered a talk entitled 'Wooden/earth structures. Convergences and deviations', at TUC Campus on May 24th, 2018.

Short Bios

Renato Vivaldi Tesser is a Chilean architect. In 1976 he moved to Chiloé in the Chilean Patagonia, creating the “Taller Puertazul”, an architecture office that enhances the traditional and contemporary architecture built of wood in the archipelago. Since 1983 he lives in Italy where he is working on sustainable and participated territory development in the Sabina region. His work has been published in several countries in America and Europe.

Rosario Etchebarne is an architect graduated in 1982 from the Faculty of Architecture – Udelar - URUGUAY. She specializes in earth architecture since 1994.She is a member of the Iberian-American network Proterra from the beginning in the year 2002. She is also a member of the Unesco Cathedra, which deals with earth architectures, constructive cultures, sustainable development. She is currently  coordining the training courses given by UTU (University of Labor of Uruguay) in different parts of the country.
