The International Waste Working Group (IWWG), under the Presidency of Professor Emeritus of the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the Technical University of Crete, Mr. Evangelos Gidarakos, organizes a series of monthly online lectures on hot waste management topics, titled "Food for Brain". The lecturers are international specialists working in universities, research centers or companies. The lectures will be delivered on the last Wednesday of each month and will be open to anyone interested.
The first lecture will be delivered on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 13:00 CET (14:00 Greek time) by Professor Emeritus of the Technical University of Hamburg (Germany), Mr. Rainer Stegmann, who has been awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the Technical University of Crete. This lecture will be open to anyone interested in attending and is entitled "What does waste management have to do with planetary boundaries?".
