What are the best experiences when you start your own business? How do you feel when you implement an idea from scratch and build your own company? Founders are the new heroes of our time. They launch like explorers into worlds that are new to them and are often exposed to dangers that can lead to failure. They sometimes find themselves in situations that challenge them and generate maximum tension. In business incubators, they find backing and support within a network of like-minded people and experts.
Dr. Franz Edler is responsible for innovation management at the Center for Applied Technology Leoben (ZAT). He holds a master's degree from TU-Graz in "Thermal and environmental Process Engineering" and a Ph.D. from Montanuniversitaet Leoben, Chair of Thermal Processing Technology, in the development of new physical and chemical models for high-temperature multiphase models and elaboration of computational concepts for complex and computationally intensive cases for industrial plants in heterogeneous combustion processes in computer-aided fluid dynamic investigations. His main area of interest and specialization comprises evaluation of new technologies and support Start Up companies in innovation processes. He is founder of a Start-Up and member of Science Park Graz.
