Prof. Elia Psillakis was the first invited lecturer in the Spring 2019 English Talks

On March 20th 2019 the Language Centre was pleased to have Professor Elia Psillakis as our first Spring Semester speaker in our English Talks Series 2018-2019. Her presentation, entitled "Pollution: Are we dead yet?", illuminated the problems our communities face with regard to pollution and discussed possible measures to take in combating these problems.

She encouraged all of us to become involved in this critical issue by educating ourselves about the state of the environment and by preventing the exacerbation of pollution by taking our own measures to eliminate the source. Thank you Professor Psillakis for such an awareness-raising talk!
