Restaurant
Working hours of the University Restaurant are as follows:
- 08:30 - 10:00 for breakfast
- 12:00 - 16:30 for lunch and
- 18:30 - 21:30 for dinner
Students may have meals for free at the University Restaurant provided that they fulfil certain financial and social requirements with regard to their personal or family status and that they apply to the Directorate of Academic Affairs. A considerable number of undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as Erasmus students have free meals while the rest of the students have meals at extremely low prices.
In the current academic year, students who are not entitled to free meals, pay 0,90€ for breakfast, 2,60€ for lunch and 2,02€ for dinner, per day. Students may also take their meals in packages if they wish (single-use plastic container/bag tax applies) . Apart from students, University personnel (faculty members, administrative employees) and visitors very often choose the university Restaurant for their meals, paying the same prices as mentioned above, per meal (it includes main course, salad, cheese, dessert)
Cafeterias
Four cafeterias serve the needs of students and staff on the Polytechnic campus. They are located at:
- Building B2 (below the Student Canteen)
- Building M3 of the School of Mechanical Engineering (MHXOP)
- Building K2 of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (MHΠEP)
- Building L of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (HMMY)
Opening hours:
- B2 cafeteria: Monday to Friday, 08:00–20:00
- M3, K2, and L cafeterias: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00
Exceptions:
During periods when, according to the academic calendar, no educational activities take place and student presence on campus is reduced:
- B2 cafeteria may operate Monday to Friday, 08:00–20:00
- K2 cafeteria may operate Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00
