Best Statistics Paper Prize for Young Statisticians

During the Conference the Prize for the Best Statistics Paper by Young Statisticians will be awarded. The prize was initiated at the Greek Statistics Conference in Kastoria in 2006 following a proposal and initial funding by Prof N. Balakrishnan and adopted by the Council of the Greek Statistical Institute.

The prize is accompanied by a monetary amount of 200 euros and is awarded on the basis of a set of rules which are available from the Office of the GSI or its web page: www.esi-stat.gr.

Those interested must submit to the Office of the GSI (esi-stathol.gr), by 13 March 2009, besides the abstract, their paper up to eight (8) pages prepared in accordance with typing instructions for the GSI Proceedings which are also available from the GSI webpage.
