    An interactive workshop aligning the Design Thinking methodology with the core theme of sustainability, integrating creative problemsolving tools with environmental, social, and economic considerations, organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA131, Staff mobility for teaching.

    Ana Cuesta González: PhD candidate in corporate sustainability with experience in active learning and sustainability projects.
    Ángel Morán Muñoz: PhD in corporate sustainability with solid experience in teaching and sustainability initiatives.

    The speakers are lecturers at ULE and regularly apply Design Thinking in their teaching activities. The teaching programme consists of
    a 4-hour, fully in-person workshop. The course content focuses on introducing the Design Thinking methodology and applying it
    specifically to sustainability-related challenges. Participants will engage in all stages of the Design Thinking process—empathy,
    definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing—within the context of environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
    The course will be highly interactive, combining theoretical input with practical group exercises, case study analysis, and hands-on
    problem solving. The workshop will take place in a classroom setting equipped for group work, and all materials will be provided inperson.
    No virtual components are planned for this activity.

    Target audience: Doctoral candidates and graduate students, early career researchers, academic community members

    - ÁNGEL MORÁN MUÑOZ

    Angel Morán-Muñoz, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of León (Spain). Since 2022, he has been researching and teaching in the fields of business and human rights, entrepreneurship and corporate ethics. With experience in both public and private institutions in Spain and the U.S., he has worked in internationalization, strategy, and corporate sustainability. His work aims to bridge the gap between ethical business practices and real-world corporate challenges.

     

    -ANA CUESTA GONZÁLEZ

    Ana Cuesta-González is a Business Administration and Management graduate from the University of León with a Master’s in Research in Management and Business Economics. Since 2023 she has been a PhD candidate researching corporate sustainability in the tourism sector. She currently works at the University of León as a teaching assistant (Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, and Strategic Management of Internationalization) and as a research technician. Her research and teaching interests include corporate sustainability, tourism-sector practices and entrepreneurship.
