Title: Preparing for battery electric bus public transport: modelling tools and implementation decision making support
Abstract: Battery electric buses have the potential to contribute to urban sustainability. In this talk we will look at some recent research on the topic, ranging from electric bus planning with a detailed energy consumption model and bus scheduling with heterogeneous fleets, to multi-criteria decision-making approaches for charging strategy selection for electric bus systems and the identification of barriers to electrification of bus systems.
