Σε αυτή τη παρουσίαση παρουσιάζεται μια σύντομη επισκόπηση της αυτοκινητοβιομηχανίας στη τωρινή της κατάσταση, σε τεχνικό αλλά και οικονομικό επίπεδο. Γίνεται μια απόπειρα να εντοπιστούν μελλοντικές τάσεις και προκλήσεις της βιομηχανίας, και πώς αυτές θα επηρεάσουν το τοπίο της βιομηχανίας σήμερα. Τέλος, γίνεται μια αναφορά στη συμμετοχή της Kenotom σε αυτή τη βιομηχανία, και παρουσιάζονται οι απαραίτητες δεξιότητες ενός υποψήφιου μηχανικού που ενδιαφέρεται να εργαστεί σε αυτή τη βιομηχανία.

In this presentation, a brief overview of the current situation of the automotive industry is presented, both in the technical and economic aspect. An attempt is made to identify future trends and challenges based on current evidence, and how those trends will affect the landscape today. Afterwards, the involvement of Kenotom is shown in the context of the current situation as well as future trends, and the necessary skills of a potential engineer in the industry are also briefly discussed.

Βιογραφικό

Vasileios graduated from the Electronics and Computer Engineering Department of the Technical University of Crete in 2008, and obtained an additional M.Sc. in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Embedded Systems from the Delft University of Technology in 2011. He specialized in Embedded Systems and Artificial Intelligence, with articles published in journals and international conferences, and obtained scholarships during his studies for academic distinctions. He has since been working in the Automotive sector as an Embedded Systems Engineer, for Tier-1 suppliers on mission-critical OEM Series and R&D projects.
